A big loss for both the film and gaming industries.

Yesterday, Emmy award-winning actor Robert Guillaume passed away due to complications with prostate cancer at the age of 89.

Although gamers best know Robert Guillaume for his performance as Dr. Eli Vance in Half-Life 2, he was also a highly successful actor who played the role of Rafiki in "The Lion King" and Benson du Bois in "Benson", just to name a couple.

This poses a serious problem for the prospect of Half-Life 2: Episode 3 or Half-Life 3 ever being released given Guillaume's prevalence in the narrative.
